Thank you for supporting CLSRT through NH Gives June 8th and 9th, 2021

Over 40 donations came in to Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail through the NH Gives program between 5pm Tuesday, June 8th and 5pm Wednesday, June 9th. Well timed donations generated an additional $1,670 in matching funds! Thanks for all your help!

To optimize your donations to CLSRT, donate up to $250 at the top of each hour starting at 5pm Tuesday, June 8th. You can get all the details for the hourly matching rules and other prizes for NH non-profits at https://www.nhgives.org/prizes

We raised over $5,000 towards the $14,000 we need to extend the finished surface of the Concord portion of the trail from Fisherville Road to beyond the driveway at the Barn at Bull Meadow.

Warner Rail Trail at Bagley Field in Warner, NH

Concord, NH Fisherville Road to Carter Hill Road

The parking area at 25 Fisherville Rd is now open. You will find parking for 7 vehicles, a bicycle fix station with pump, and a kiosk with trail information. A half mile of trail starting at the parking area has been completed with a fine stone dust surface. The remaining two miles can be biked or walked on the existing surface.
Please note, as you reach the access drive for the Barn at Bull Meadow event center that road is now about 2 feet above the height of the grade. Immediately to the west of the drive is a puddle. Walk around it on the edge. We are raising funds now to improve the trail surface up to and past this location so the trail will gently rise up to the level of the drive on both sides.

$50,000 Matching Grant Challenge – You did it!

In 2019 we were challenged to raise $50,000 that would be matched by a donor advised fund of the NH Charitable Foundation. Together we did it!

You Have Our Trust Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation has offered us a challenge grant where they will donate $50,000 to CLSRT if we can raise $50,000 from other sources by December 31, 2019.

Meeting that challenge enabled us to have the funds to complete finishing touches on the Stevens Rail Trail in Contoocook & Warner and complete the parking area and a half mile of trail in Concord that opened spring of 2020.

Thank you to everyone who got us over the top. Thank you also to You Have Our Trust for supporting the vision of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail and challenging us to reach new heights.
